Hello and welcome! For whatever reason led you here, I am so glad you made it to my page. My name is Jessica, Jess for short. I am an army wife and a stay-at-home mama to two beautiful boys; Aiden and Lucas.
Being a mother is something that I had always envisioned for myself. Now that I am one, I never imagined that I would experience the many challenges that came along with it. From Postpartum Depression, anxiety, and the immense doubt I felt in myself as a wife and mom, to sleep deprivation, toddler tantrums, potty training, and all the things in between.
We all know how easy it is to lose ourselves in this beautiful thing called motherhood. As beautiful as it is, it is also draining. We dedicate all our time and energy to filling everyone’s cup except for our own. We sacrifice pieces of ourselves that are screaming for us to find our way back until those pieces are so far gone, we can no longer hear the screams.
I started this blog to find a sense of purpose, and have a space to share little pieces of my heart, thoughts, and my day-to-day life as a stay-at-home mom. I hope you follow along with me and embrace the many things that come our way. Let’s embark on this journey together as we rediscover ourselves as individuals so that we may continue to bloom into the mamas that we were meant to be. I can’t wait to connect with you!
